Duncan Walker Bannatyne was born in February 1949 (age 72) in Scotland. He is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, author, but also a TV star. He served in the royal navy between 1964 and 1969 before he becomes a very successful business person. While in the navy, he was sent to military detention for nine months for attempting to throw a commanding officer overboard.
For his philanthropist and charitable services, he received an OBE. He continues his charity works by funding and investing in charitable organisations like the one for orphans with HIV and AIDS.
