Lalvani is married to Tara Ruby and the two got married in London in 2011. They are partners in their property investment business which they also run in London. Tara is sometimes referred to as the Princess of Vitamins after her husband was nicknamed the Prince of Vitamins when he became CEO of Vitabiotics in 2015.

Their wedding is still regarded as one of the most ravishing weddings the UK has ever seen. The pre-wedding reception was held at the National History Museum, one of London’s favourite tourism sites and the newly married couple and their guests were treated to beautifully prepared cuisine in the Museum’s hall while the great dinosaur looked on. And later the guests were treated to exclusive dining at the Hurlingham Club in Putney in South London as the final reception for the wedding. Men in red coats greeted the guests.

It was an intercultural wedding where the east met the west, an Indian traditional wedding with a few western touches. There was a multiple tier cake, western music, and nightclubbing before the wedding day.

And for the honeymoon, the couple went all out and took their time. Tej and Tara spent a week in the Maldives and also visited Malaysia and Japan. It has been rumoured that the couple who have been married since 2011 have two children but since they have said they want to keep their family life private, people are still left to only speculate.

The couple has numerous investments together with property across London.
